Principle
The Fecal Occult Blood Test Kit (Colloidal Gold) utilizes a colloidal gold-based immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of hemoglobin in fecal samples.
When hemoglobin is present in the sample, it binds to the colloidal gold-labeled anti-Hb monoclonal antibody, forming an antigen-antibody complex. This complex migrates along the nitrocellulose membrane via capillary action. In the test region, it is captured by another immobilized anti-Hb monoclonal antibody, resulting in the appearance of a burgundy-colored line, indicating a positive result.
If no hemoglobin is present, no line appears in the test region, and the result is negative.
The kit also includes an internal procedural control line (C line) that should always appear as a burgundy band, confirming the test is functioning properly. If the control line does not develop, the result is invalid, and the test should be repeated using a new device

Specification
Test Procedure
1) Shake well the Sample collection tube with feces specimen;
2) Open pouch and place test device on a flat surface;
3) Open the tip cover of the sample collection tube and squeeze tube to dispense 3 drops (about 100μL) into sample well. Read result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret result after 10 minutes.
